Gray Willow: Reviews & Ratings
My family and I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Grey Willow. It was a gorgeous summer night and a band was playing outside. We sat inside but the music flowed through the side door so it was just loud enough for us to hear but not too loud so we couldn’t talk. Lots going on to enjoy from yard games with picnic tables to pool tables or lounge seating. My father loved the honey butter bread and burger. Our server was friendly and very helpful when a few drinks were rung up incorrectly on the check. We were already talking about who else we could bring over to this new spot! Love that it’s a quick drive from Coxsackie.
Had a great time. Stopped in for a quick snack and ended up having a full meal. I got the 3 course Sat/Sunday special and got fried brussel sprouts, pork osso bucco, and caramel apple cheesecake. So much food. It could have fed us both. Needless to say it was a wonderful hidden gem on the outskirts of nowhere.
The food here is usually great, especially the deviled eggs, Mac and Cheese, and specialty desserts. The cappuccinos are always fresh and delicious. I love coming here for dinner.
Wow we had a fabulous dinner here during our harvest host stay. We were pretty excited by the rabbit stew on the menu and the Brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve had. I ordered the black bean burger as my main dish and it was delicious. Our server Mitchell was pleasant and attentive and the manager took special time with us to tell the story of the restaurant. The seating was comfortable and well spaced out, the lighting was pleasant and the noise level was moderate but still nice for chatting. We’re so glad we came here, thank you for hosting us and we hope to see you again.
a unique local spot; craft brewery with interesting cocktails and fun menu. part bar part restaurant with a blend of bar seating, formal dining, and cocktail lounge seating. the food was good, beer was very good (red & brown ale), atmosphere was relaxed. salmon was a beautiful cut of fish. generally a bit pricey for the quality. not very busy sunday night for dinner.
Traveled from colonie to Gray Willow, everything was fantastic! We shared the jerk wings, hubby got a French onion soup that he said was the best he’s ever had, I got arugula dinner salad. We both chose the sirloin dinner and it had a garlic butter on top that was delicious !! My steak was over cooked and the waitress noticed and got Me a fresh one right away. Had gluten free options as well! Awesome atmosphere as well.
